CYCLING ROUTES AROUND POHORJE
Pohorje Cycling Transversal
Discover Pohorje by bike from St. Bolfenk Church on the Maribor side to the foothills of Kremžarjev Vrh on the Koroška side of Pohorje.
Pohorje (Belvi - Areh - Šumik)
Embark on this route if you are in good physical condition. If not, there are plenty of stops and viewpoints along the way. Out of the total length of 41 km, you will climb only 500 meters and descend 1300 meters.
Kordek - BPP
The route first takes you 3 km on asphalt through the beautiful Rožna dolina past the defense home.
The path starts to climb for about a kilometer on asphalt, then turns into the forest onto a gravel road. Locals call this forest road “kordek”.
The Slovenian Mountainbike route – STKP
Mountain biking is becoming an increasingly more popular activity among members of the Alpine Association of Slovenia (PZS). As an additional incentive for its development, the Mountain Biking Commission of the PZS has prepared a circular cycling route that bypasses all major Slovenian mountain groups, measuring around 1,800 kilometers and overcomes a 50,000-meter difference in altitude.

Slovenian mountain trail is the oldest and most diverse connecting mountain trail in Slovenia, which takes you from Maribor all the way to the Slovenian coast, to Ankaran, in a length of 500 kilometers.

Trail to Lake Črno jezero
Lake Črno jezero lies between Osankarica and Veliki vrh at an altitude of 1,200 m. It is surrounded by spruce trees and peat moss.

Winter experiences at Pohorje
Pležuh competition: Pležuh originates from the slopes of the hills of the Drava Valley. Over 200 years ago, pležuh was the only means of transportation in this valley during winter. It was used for fun in the snow, to travel down the valley, and for other errands.
Team & Play
Animation-led fun programs on snow: group cross-country skiing, tug-of-war, snowshoe competition (in pairs in two runs). The games can be just for fun or serious competition, depending on the client’s wishes.
Giant slalom skiing competition
We prepare everything you need: set up the course, create the start list, distribute the numbers, measure the time, comment on the progress of the competition over the sound system, and announce the results.
